SIA CCTV Operator Course This qualification has been developed by the Security Industry Authority (SIA). Learners who are successful in achieving this qualification will become eligible to apply for an SIA license to practice within the private security industry in the United Kingdom. This is an SIA license linked qualification, meaning that successful learners will be notified to the SIA which provides a necessary requirement towards obtaining a license to perform the role of a CCTV Operator in the private security industry.

SIA Door Supervision Course (Including Emergency First Aid at Work)

SIA Door Supervision is a seven-days course covering all the requirements to gain an SIA Door Supervision License. The course is split into modules which include Working in the Private Security Industry, Working as a Door Supervisor, Conflict Management, Counter Terrorism Awareness, Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW) and Physical Intervention Skills. It is a legal requirement that you have SIA License training and a valid SIA License before you start working in the Private Security Industry in the UK.

Our SIA License training will prepare you for a rewarding and challenging career as an SIA Accredited Door Supervisor. The role is extremely demanding, so it is vital that you receive the best quality training available before you begin your new career. As soon as you have successfully completed you course, you will be able to apply for your SIA Door Supervisor License. You will be assessed through four multiple-choice exams and some practical assessments of the physical intervention and other skills you will be taught on the course. Everything you need to know for the examination is covered during the course and your expert instructor will fully prepare you for success in your tests. So, although examinations can sometimes be daunting, you’ll be fully equipped to pass with flying colors!

SIA Door Supervision Refresher Course Door supervisors are often the first point of contact between many businesses and members of the public. It is important therefore that they are effectively trained and meet legal requirements in what can be a challenging environment. The Level 2 Award for Working as a Door Supervisor Private Security Industry (Top-Up) is for learners who currently hold a license from the Security Industry Authority (SIA) to work as a door supervisor and need to be brought up to date with the new license-linked qualifications requirements.

To complete this qualification all learners are expected to undertake approximately 24 hours of learning. Key topics include:

In case, you do not possess a valid First Aid qualification, you must complete the Emergency First Aid Training.

ACT Awareness and ACT Security Training
In this qualification you would be required to complete distance learning of online ACT Awareness and ACT Security Training. After that, you would be assessed by using various assessment methods.

First Aid
Every year in the UK, thousands of people die or are seriously injured in incidents. Many deaths could be prevented if first aid was given before emergency services arrive. First aid isn’t something that only applies to the workplace, far from it, accidents and incidents can happen anywhere to anyone; if not for yourself, learn first aid for your family, friends and colleagues that might need you in an emergency. If you are an employer, you must make appropriate first-aid arrangements for your workplace by doing your first aid needs assessment. In doing so you should consider the circumstances of your workplace, workforce and the health and safety risks that may be present to help you decide what arrangements you need to put in place. If your workplace has more significant health and safety risks, for example you use machinery or hazardous materials then you are more likely to need a trained first-aider.

Level 3 Award in First aid at Work (RQF) Guided learning hours: 18

This qualification is for those undertaking the role of a first aider in the workplace. The Level 3 Award in First aid at Work (RQF) has been developed in conjunction with different Awarding Organization’s and supports employers to meet their requirements under the Health and Safety (First Aid) regulations 1981. (NI 1982). This qualification is available to those over 16 years. Candidates should be at least a level 2 numeracy and literacy or equivalent. Candidates under the age of 16 can complete the qualification, however, employers should not rely on those under 16 to be a lone first aider. We specialize in bringing the First Aid and Health and Safety, classrooms to you, allowing the training to take place in a familiar environment and, where possible, tailored to your site’s needs. We also offer “open” courses, held in venues such as community centers, offices, schools, restaurants, gyms, shops, warehouses, faith centers and event halls, that are ideal for individuals or small groups

Level 3 Award in Emergency First Aid at Work (RQF)

Guided learning hours: 6 This is the most popular first aid qualification. The Emergency First aid at work qualification is the choice of many employers to ensure they are meeting the requirements of the Health and Safety (first aid) Regulations. Level 3 Award in Emergency First Aid at Work (RQF) is ideal for those employers that need to meet the minimum requirement of first aid regulations; typically, those working in shops, offices and other low risk environments. This qualification is available to those over 16 years. Candidates should be at least a level 2 numeracy and literacy or equivalent.

Health and Safety in a Construction Environment This Level 1 Award Health and Safety course is aimed at learners who currently work, or want to work, in construction environment. Successful completion will enable you to move on to take the CITB health, safety and environment test, and then apply for the new Construction Skills Certificate Scheme (CSCS) Green Card. This card allows access to construction sites in the UK as a non-skilled worker and is designed to improved overall site safety. In this course you will discover the legal duties and responsibilities of construction operatives, from health and welfare to general safety, exploring crucial aspects of maintaining a safe workplace. With interactive modules and engaging content, you can start building a foundation of safety today and pave the way for a successful future on-site! Successful learners who also complete the CITB Operatives Health, Safety and Environment knowledge test can apply for the CSCS Laborer’s card – Green Card.
